⚔️ Warlock

  • 🔄 Fewer spell slots than other casters, but most features/spells refresh on short rests

  • 🚀 Gain access to higher-level spell slots earlier than most casters

  • 🎲 Spell slot limit: max of 4 slots (all are the highest level you can cast)


📖 Mystic Arcanum

  • From level 11, gain 1 spell of 6th level (long rest recharge)

  • At higher levels, add 7th (13), 8th (15), 9th (17)

  • These are once per long rest and not “normal slots”


👁️ Devil’s Sight (Invocation)

  • See in darkness (120 ft.), including magical darkness

  • Often combined with Darkness spell for one-sided advantage


🔥 Core Spells

  • Hellish Rebuke (reaction): Deal fire damage back when hit

  • Hex (bonus action): Curse target, add 1d6 necrotic dmg per hit, and give disadvantage on chosen ability checks

Pact of the Blade

  • Summon a magic weapon (any type you’re proficient with)

  • Can use CHA for attack/damage with this weapon (via Improved Pact Weapon / Hexblade Patron)

  • Good synergy with Armor of Agathys + Hellish Rebuke for defense

Pact of the Chain

  • Familiar options: Imp, Pseudodragon, Quasit, Sprite

  • Familiars can attack (unlike normal familiars)

  • Imps can:

    • Poison enemies

    • Turn invisible

    • Provide advantage (Help action)

Pact of the Tome

  • Gain Book of Shadows with extra cantrips (from any list)

  • Flexible support/utility option


  • Fiend: Temp HP when killing foes, access to fire spells (incl. Fireball)

  • Archfey: Charm/frighten, teleportation (Misty Step at 6th)

  • Great Old One: Telepathy, psychic-based control
